Network into our existing site?
Q1) What is iChapter Network and how can it be so inexpensive?
A1) iChapter Network is an Internet Technology Service Provider (ITSP). We specialize
in support non-profits and understand the needs of non-profits. We provide event
management and reservations processing services where data is stored on our iChapter
Network, not your web site. The data storage backend is the same for everybody,
similar to an on-line bank account. You web site can be designed anyway you like.
Reservations and event information moves between your web site and iChapter network
electronically via Microsoft .NET XML Web Service Technology. This process lowers
our cost and we pass that along to you.
To get a complete understand of theiChapter network see the
About Us on this web site.

Q2) How much does it typically cost to get setup with an iChapter Network supported
site?
A2) That depends on a number of factors. It's cheaper to use an existing "template"
design for your site than a custom design and implementing credit card support adds
additional setup fees. Typically a site using a "template" design and not supporting
credit card can be setup for less than $500. (this does not include any hosting
service cost or domain name registrations costs).

Q3) We have our own credit card merchant but it's not used on-line. Can we use our
existing service with iChapter Network?
A3) It depends on the type of merchant service you have and what credit card "gateways"
they support. iChapter Network support three different "gateways, see
Credit Cards on this site. Usually a credit card merchant account using
a "swipe" terminal over a phone line does not support on-line services and an entirely
new account needs to be setup. By asking your current merchant a few simple questions
we can quickly find out what they support and if additional costs are involved to
move processong on-line.

Q4) We currently accept credit cards on-line via PayPal but the management of events
and reservations is not very well organized or designed. Can iChapter network work
with PayPal?
A4) The answer is yes and no. iChapter Network can work with the PayPal Pro but
not any of the other traditional eBay-like PayPal services. The reason is because
PayPal itself is designed around a shopping cart and PayPal has it's own user interface
(web page interface) for collecting the credit card information.
iChapter Network credit card process works totally different that a user never leaves
your site. All credit card processing takes place on your site in a SSL (Secure
Sockets Layer) folder. The iChapter Network process is much more professionally
done and is identical to the way Amazon.com and other major Internet vendors process
credit cards.
At this time PayPal Pro is not supported but could be added to the gateways iChapter
Network supports at no additional cost for setup or monthly fees.

Q6) We currently have a web site we really like. Is it possible to incorporate iChapter
Network into our existing site?
A6) That is very possible. It just depends on how the site is designed. XML Web
Services must run in ".aspx" type pages which is usually referred to as a .NET web
site. If your site is not .NET designed, then it would have to be rebuilt.
In most cases, we rebuild sites to incorporate iChapter Network for customers.
